Vessel

Vessel is a triptych of charcoal on colored paper. For this piece I wanted to combine a smaller, more isolated problem and connect it to many of the bigger problems that effect the entire world. Vessel contrasts the idea of mindfulness of oneself with all of humanity's awareness of their presence in the world and the effects of that.

Here is a selection of traditional work I have done. Though I do not use charcoal or paints as often anymore. My traditional background has created a basis of skills for my design work which I continue to draw from.
